🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Add the required environments configuration.
The documented createAbby call omits environments, which AbbyConfig requires. A TypeScript user who copies this quickstart gets a configuration type error. Add environments: ["production"] beside currentEnvironment. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

Pass feature-flag names as an array.
Core defines flags as an array of flag names, not an object of flag types. The documented value fails the createAbby type contract and does not configure newCheckout as intended. Use flags: ["newCheckout"]. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

🩺 Stability & Availability | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Move the abby.subscribe call out of setup() to avoid a listener leak during SSR.
setup() runs on the server, but onMounted and onUnmounted do not. Each server-rendered AbbyProvider therefore calls abby.subscribe(...) and never calls unsubscribe.
abby is created once per module, so the listeners accumulate for the lifetime of the server process. Each listener also keeps its providerDataRef alive.
Subscribe inside onMounted. Run the unsubscribe in onUnmounted.

Run the type assertions in the test workflow.
packages/vue/package.json runs only vitest run, and packages/vue/vite.config.ts does not enable Vitest typechecking. Therefore, the expectTypeOf(...) assertions in tests/types.test.ts are not checked by the package test command. A type regression can pass this test workflow.
Configure Vitest to type-check this file:
🐛 Suggested fix

test: { globals: true, environment: "jsdom", setupFiles: "./tests/setup.ts", + typecheck: { + enabled: true, + include: ["tests/types.test.ts"], + }, },
Alternatively, rename the file to types.test-d.ts and enable test.typecheck.enabled.
