Explanation

Issue #68 is open and directly linked. The PR adds the TypeScript package at packages/vue with the name @tryabby/vue. The package consumes @tryabby/core and exports Vue integration APIs. createAbby provides useAbby with variant and onAct, useFeatureFlag, and useRemoteConfig. The implementation includes Vue plugin and provider support. createAbby.test.ts covers runtime behavior. types.test.ts checks variant, mapped variant, flag, and remote-config types.

Remove the "Boolean" remote-config type from the test.

"Boolean" is not a valid remote-config type. The core schema accepts only "String", "Number", and "JSON". The test passes visible: "Boolean" to createAbby, and that config type is constrained by this union. The type check fails at that config entry. The test also expects visible.value to be boolean, but no mapping produces boolean.

Use a supported type instead. Drop the visible case, or replace it with "JSON":

Proposed fix
-    visible: "Boolean",
+    settings: "JSON",
-  const visible = abby.useRemoteConfig("visible");
+  const settings = abby.useRemoteConfig("settings");
-  expectTypeOf(visible.value).toEqualTypeOf<boolean>();
+  expectTypeOf(settings.value).toEqualTypeOf<Record<string, unknown>>();

Update the mapped variant assertion to the inferred literal type.

useAbby declares const Lookup and takes the lookup object as lookup?: Lookup. A const type parameter infers object literals as readonly literal types. The mappedExperiment.variant.value type is therefore the union of { readonly title: "Monthly" } and { readonly title: "Annual" }, not { title: string }. The toEqualTypeOf<{ title: string }>() assertion then fails under the type checker.

If { title: string } is the intended public type, change the useAbby generic signature instead of the assertion.

Enable Vitest type checking, or the expectTypeOf assertions never run.

vitest run strips types and executes expectTypeOf as a no-op. Type mismatches in tests/types.test.ts therefore do not fail pnpm test.

The issue requires type tests. Enable typecheck. By default, Vitest type-checks only *.test-d.ts files. Either rename the file to tests/types.test-d.ts or set typecheck.include.
