The hand-rolled fetch fake is replaced by the inference-testing harness: one wire test per apiStyle asserts path, body and parsed results, and 429 backoff is asserted on the harness clock. Unit tests of the internal Retry-After extractor are dropped. tests/tei.e2e.test.ts ranks three documents against a real TEI /rerank (TEI_RERANK_URL, default http://localhost:8080) and skips when it is unreachable. Run with bun run test:e2e.
