Refs #1258.

In a config [[table]] glob, {name} no longer means *; it is a literal, as in a path-table and in bash. Breaking: write *. A {a,b} alternation is unchanged.

Checked by hand: {name}.md matches only a file literally named {name}.md on a config table and a path-table, as bash does.

Red commit: d9fccfa, CI run 37404008088 (a_braced_name_is_not_a_wildcard left ["x.md", "{name}.md"], right ["{name}.md"]).

Removes the {name} placeholder grammar and the now-meaningless CaptureColumnCollision error, plus tests of both.

E2E Verification

  • Ran e2e suites locally for every affected SDK
  • Python e2e receipt pending: main's Python e2e is red on glob_speed_depth_bound_test until Test one-level glob listings at speed of light #1317 merges; full-suite receipt will be written then.
  • TypeScript SDK e2e: pass
  • Rust core: lib, config_glob_parity, from_config, sdk pass; watcher tests fail locally with Too many open files from the shared host
  • packages/ts/e2e-attestations/<branch>.json receipt written
  • Command(s) run: just e2e-attest-ts
