Refs #1258.

A config [[table]] glob no longer matches a dot-named file or directory unless the glob spells it: **/*.md skips .env.md and .hid/z.md, .hid/*.md lists .hid/z.md. Same rule as a path-table and as bash with dotglob off. Breaking: spell the dot name, or use .*.

Checked by hand: in a tree with a.md, .env.md, .hid/z.md, sub/b.md, bash **/*.md gives a.md sub/b.md and .hid/*.md gives .hid/z.md; the config table and path-table give the same.

Red commit: 18b8ebd, CI run 37408344860.

E2E Verification

  • Ran e2e suites locally for every affected SDK
  • Python e2e receipt pending: main's Python e2e is red on glob_speed_depth_bound_test until Test one-level glob listings at speed of light #1317 merges; full-suite receipt will be written then.
  • TypeScript SDK e2e: pass
  • Rust core: lib and the config glob, scanner, from_config tests pass; watcher tests fail locally with Too many open files from the shared host
  • packages/ts/e2e-attestations/<branch>.json receipt written
  • Command(s) run: just e2e-attest-ts
