- Line 237: Keep clusterConfig based on deployer.DefaultConfig() for deployment,
but when writing deploySettings to the manifest, retain the previous manifest’s
Central settings if components excludes Central and SecuredCluster settings if
components excludes SecuredCluster. Preserve the settings for any component not
being deployed so teardown and shell continue using its existing configuration.

What if there are multiple secured clusters like in the performance test? 🤔

Does this work well with multiple operators?

We're warning both here and inside updateManifest 😟
Summary
roxie-manifestsecret as the base config during deploys. Deploys now always start fromDefaultConfig(), with user config and CLI flags layered on top as before.roxie teardownandroxie shellcontinue to work.Motivation
When redeploying, roxie loads the config from the previous deployment's manifest secret and uses it as the base for the new config. This means settings from a prior deploy silently carry over, even when the user doesn't expect them to. This is confusing — users expect
roxie deployto behave the same regardless of what was previously deployed on the cluster. This is also the likely cause of the OLM e2e test failures: stale config from a previous non-OLM deploy leaks into the OLM redeploy, causing unexpected behavior.
