🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Pass a nil base when the manifest did not load.
If the manifest is absent or loading fails, clusterConfig remains zero-valued, but AsConfig() still returns a non-nil base. assembleConfigForCommand then skips defaults. With no user overrides, teardown uses empty Central and SecuredCluster namespaces and can report completion without removing either deployment. Keep the base nil unless the manifest loads successfully. (raw.githubusercontent.com)

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟠 Major | ⚡ Quick win
Restore defaults for configuration sections omitted from the manifest.
When teardown loads a manifest, AsConfig() returns a non-nil base with an empty SecuredCluster.Namespace. assembleConfigForCommand therefore skips DefaultConfig(). Without a user override, SecuredCluster teardown checks an empty namespace and skips the installed resources. Start from deployer.DefaultConfig(), then apply the stored Roxie and Central settings. Propagate discovery errors instead of treating them as absent CRs. An authorization or API failure currently makes either teardown return success without deleting resources. Skip only when a successful discovery query finds no CRs. (kubernetes.io)

Keep a cleanup path when a CR has already been deleted. A missing CR no longer identifies a namespace, but the namespace can still hold resources that teardown previously removed. (kubernetes.io)

Return per-namespace teardown errors.
If deletion fails in one namespace, this goroutine only logs the error. After wg.Wait(), teardownSecuredCluster returns nil. The command can then report success despite resources remaining. Collect the worker errors and return a joined error after all namespaces finish.

List CRs before filtering by name.
kubectl get <type> <name> -A rejects a named lookup across all namespaces. The v0.36.2 resource builder returns a resource cannot be retrieved by name across all namespaces. Both teardown paths therefore fail discovery. They then skip resource deletion while reporting success. List the CR type with -A, filter the returned items by metadata.name, and return their namespaces. (raw.githubusercontent.com)
