+Subject: [PATCH] Widen license-files to cover the bundled OpenSSL notice
+
+`license-files = ["LICENSE"]` is an explicit PEP 639 list, so it has no
+default `LICEN[CS]E*` glob behind it: a `LICENSE.openssl` dropped at the
+project root to cover the OpenSSL shared library `auditwheel repair`
+vendors into the wheel (dynamically linked from the build image, since
+the extension is built with `--static-openssl=False` there) is silently
+ignored. Widening the list picks it up with no other packaging change.
+
+Upstream's own wheels (built with `--static-ssl` against a statically
+linked, from-source OpenSSL baked into their own manylinux_2_34 image)
+carry no equivalent gap, since nothing is dynamically vendored there;
+this only matters for a build that links the image's OpenSSL instead.
