Codex review: needs maintainer review before merge.

What this changes

This PR updates the SHA-pinned GoReleaser GitHub Action from v7.2.3 to v7.3.0.

Example: Ubuntu CI builds snapshot artifacts using GoReleaser v2.18.2.

  • Before: The workflow invokes goreleaser-action v7.2.3.
  • After: The workflow invokes v7.3.0 with the same snapshot arguments.

Review scores

Measure Result What it means
Overall readiness 🦐 gold shrimp (3/6) The focused patch appears correct and its affected CI step passed; available validation is limited to CI metadata rather than inspectable execution output.
Proof confidence 🦐 gold shrimp (3/6) This Dependabot maintenance PR is outside the contributor proof gate; GitHub independently reports success for the changed snapshot step, while detailed job logs were inaccessible through the network allowlist.
Patch quality 🐚 platinum hermit (4/6) No actionable review findings were identified.

Product

Kind: Maintenance · Worth it: Yes · Fix scope: Complete
User problem: CI tooling needs routine dependency upkeep while continuing to produce snapshot artifacts.
Reason: A single pinned dependency update preserves existing inputs and permissions and has a successful run of the affected workflow step.

Merge readiness

✅ Ready for maintainer review

Keep open: this focused dependency update is absent from current main, preserves the snapshot-build configuration, and introduces no identified defect.

Priority: P3

Agent review details

How this fits together

The CI workflow passes a pinned GoReleaser version and snapshot arguments to a third-party action, which installs the tool and builds unpublished release artifacts.

Technical review

Best possible solution:

Land the focused SHA-pinned action update through the normal repository review path.

Do we have a high-confidence way to reproduce the issue?

This is dependency maintenance rather than a reported runtime bug; the introduced SHA update and successful snapshot step are independently verified.

Is this the best way to solve the issue?

Updating the existing pinned action is appropriately scoped and retains the reproducibility and snapshot behavior established by prior maintenance.

AGENTS.md: found but not applied because it conflicted with ClawSweeper's review contract.

Evidence

What I checked:

  • Verified introduced change: The sole introduced hunk updates the action SHA and version comment; distribution, tool version, snapshot arguments, and workflow permissions remain unchanged. Current main still uses v7.2.3. (.github/workflows/ci.yml:104, 7694d59bf869)
  • Original pinning intent: The merged ci: pin tools and validate documentation before merge #193 pinned actions for reproducibility and moved snapshot generation to Linux only; this update preserves those decisions. (.github/workflows/ci.yml:104, f80cc94dcdbd)
  • Executed dependency and verified release pin: The workflow executes this dependency, making its runtime contract relevant. The v7.3.0 tag resolves to the proposed SHA; action inputs and Node 24 runtime remain compatible. Cache lookup separates distributions and verification levels, and unverified downloads are not cached. No AGENTS.md was listed in the dependency tree. (src/goreleaser.ts:16, a4f02ab5355a)
  • Changed workflow step passed: GitHub reports the Snapshot release build step succeeded on the reviewed head in https://github.com/openclaw/gitcrawl/actions/runs/38787987402/job/116604856133. Check results show eight successes and one neutral result, with no failing checks. (.github/workflows/ci.yml:102, 7694d59bf869)
  • Policy and inspection limits: The full root AGENTS.md was read; no nested workflow AGENTS.md or maintainer-notes directory was found. Its helper instruction was superseded by the explicit single-reviewer prohibition, so no helper or second reviewer ran. Historical blob access encountered the documented partial-clone limit; GitHub job-log retrieval was blocked at its Azure redirect. Neither establishes a patch defect. The checkout remained clean. (AGENTS.md:3, 7694d59bf869)

Consolidate Dependabot #246, #247, #248, #249, #250, and #251. Update CrawlKit to 0.17.0, ANSI helpers to 0.11.9, transitive modules, and the Node setup, GoReleaser, app-token, and secret-scanning actions. Retain the Go 1.27.2 minimum. Thanks @dependabot.

Expose an explicit release dry run, forwarding the typed input to the shared workflow so the current version can be built, signed, and verified without publication. Document the command.

Validation: full make check passed on AWS, including 85.1% coverage, govulncheck with no vulnerabilities, docs, release-script tests, and six-platform snapshot builds. actionlint and independent Codex autoreview through P3 passed. Exact-head CI was required before merge.

Included goreleaser/goreleaser-action 7.3.0 in #252, now merged. The consolidated update passed the full make check gate, including govulncheck, 85.1% coverage, six-platform snapshot builds, and exact-head Linux/macOS/Windows/Docker CI. Closing this superseded dependency PR. Thanks!

OK, I won't notify you again about this release, but will get in touch when a new version is available. If you'd rather skip all updates until the next major or minor version, let me know by commenting @dependabot ignore this major version or @dependabot ignore this minor version. You can also ignore all major, minor, or patch releases for a dependency by adding an ignore condition with the desired update_types to your config file.

If you change your mind, just re-open this PR and I'll resolve any conflicts on it.
