Description

The extension is now the DocumentDB extension for Visual Studio Code, matching how it is presented with DocumentDB 1.0 on documentdb.io (documentdb/documentdb.github.io#226).

All work below ships together in the 1.0.1 patch release.

Naming rule

Product name: DocumentDB extension for Visual Studio Code

Where Name to use
Marketplace listing, README, docs, release notes, blog posts, announcements (title and first mention) DocumentDB extension for Visual Studio Code
Later mentions in the same text "the extension" or "the DocumentDB extension"
In-product UI (displayName, output channel, walkthrough, prompts) DocumentDB, or "the DocumentDB extension" where it could be confused with the database
Running text "VS Code" is fine, e.g. "without leaving VS Code"

Unchanged: the extension ID ms-azuretools.vscode-documentdb, the repo slug vscode-documentdb, all URLs, and historical content (0.x release notes, CHANGELOG.md, docs/ai-and-plans/**). "DocumentDB GUI" stays in descriptions for search.
