AdvancedPrinter 2.0 fixes print/input compatibility and frame rendering, adds configurable printers, validated styling, semantic messages, custom colours, Unicode-aware frames, and standard logging integration. Existing imports, short arguments, palette constants, and original borders remain available; the migration guide documents the Python 3.10 minimum and intentional behaviour changes.
The project now has modular source, typed exports, runnable examples, updated API/migration/release documentation, 280 regression cases, and CI across Python 3.10–3.14 on Linux, Windows, and macOS. Publishing a GitHub Release validates its tag and runs CI before uploading the built wheel and sdist using PyPI Trusted Publishing.
Local validation: 280 tests pass with both wcwidth 0.9.0 and 0.9.3; branch-inclusive coverage is 99.5%; Ruff and strict mypy pass; wheel and source distribution pass strict Twine validation. PyPI's one-time Trusted Publisher registration is required before the first upload.
