The web HTTP guide does not explain how to hold a Server-Sent Events response open or send events after the request callback returns. Documented the stream start and send APIs, their session lifetime, and the requirements for a persistent GET request. The documentation diff passed whitespace validation. No documentation renderer was run. Assisted-by: Codex (GPT-6) <noreply@openai.com>
