### Fixes
- **fix: two exception messages reached callers in German** — `sanitize_device_key()` raised `"Device-Key darf nicht leer sein"` and `sanitize_api_parameter()` raised `"API-Parameter darf nicht leer sein"`. A consumer passing an empty key got a German error out of a package published on PyPI. Both are now English (`"Device key must not be empty"`, `"API parameter must not be empty"`). Anything matching on the message text — nothing in this repository did — needs updating.
