CPU modeling sessions can return 1280×720 snapshots even though zoo-mcp requests a 1024×1024 canvas. Older engines replace the connection dimensions while graphics is disabled.
After enabling CPU graphics, reconfigure the canvas before applying camera framing. Keep the resize within the existing snapshot deadline and mark graphics ready only after it succeeds, so a failed resize can be retried. Persistent sessions retain the configured renderer for later snapshots.
A live run against the dev CPU engine returned 1024×1024 for the first and repeated snapshots, and 1024×512 for a two-view collage. This supports the CPU-only rollout in https://github.com/KittyCAD/text-to-cad/pull/4465.
