Changes requested on exact head 909834b. The required Stellar suite is red because this patch removes the working indexer contract without replacing it: createRpcClient() no longer exposes getEvents/getLatestLedger, index.js still calls server.getEvents(), and processEvents(), healthSnapshot(), and start() are removed while the existing tests and runtime depend on them. The README also claims cursor-store.js and cursor-store.test.js exist, but neither file is in the PR, and it contains contributor-facing instructions about fixing syntax errors. Restore the existing RPC/poller/server behavior, add the actual cursor store and tests, and get the required suite green.

Blocking on the current head f938dff. The Stellar CI job has 19 failures because the implementation no longer exports core APIs exercised by the suite: index.processEvents, index.healthSnapshot, client.getEvents, and client.getLatestLedger are all missing. The latest changes also remove the production poller/server and metric aggregation code while the README claims cursor-store files that are not present. Please restore and implement the full indexer/RPC surface, add the referenced cursor store and tests, and get the required Stellar job green.

Blocking exact head 1f09e3d. The required Stellar job fails 13 of 31 metrics-indexer tests. index.js now ends after parseMetricEvent, so processEvents, healthSnapshot, metric updates, the production poller, and the HTTP server are absent. createRpcClient() exposes getEvents but not getLatestLedger, causing seven transport tests to fail.
The cursor implementation is also not safely integrated: it persists only a ledger number, silently treats a corrupt cursor file as no cursor, which can replay and double-count history, and the README still claims cursor-store.js and cursor-store.test.js exist even though neither file is present. Restore the complete production indexer and RPC APIs, preserve the opaque RPC cursor with fail-closed corruption handling, wire persistence into the real polling loop, add the claimed restart/dedup/reorg/corruption tests, and make the full required Stellar suite pass.
Overview
This PR makes the Stellar metrics indexer resume from a persisted, reorg-safe cursor instead of always fetching contract events from the default cursor. It adds cursor persistence across restarts, deduplication of replayed events, and a rewind policy for ledger reorganizations. The changes are limited to the metrics indexer scripts and its README.
