Description
The NXP CI jobs (i.MX RT, MCX, LPC55S69 and RT700, including the emulator tests) run
west initagainst the default branch ofnxp-mcuxpresso/mcuxsdk-manifests. That branch tracks NXP's next SDK preview. A 26.12.00 preview revision bump points thefw_binproject (NXP/wifi_nb_fw) at a commit NXP has not published, sowest update_boardfails withupload-pack: not our ref 2553ab1d.... Runs that hit the SDK cache still pass, which is why only some PRs fail. The workflows now build against the newest SDK release instead:
tools/ci/mcux-sdk-latest-release.shpicks the highestvYY.MM.NNtag of the manifests, skipping-pvwpreviews and-LTStags (v26.09.00today).west init --mr, and include it in the cache key, so a new NXP release replaces the cached SDK.Testing
The script resolves to
v26.09.00inside both CI images (wolfboot-ci-m33muandwolfboot-ci-arm). The CI SDK setup atv26.09.00forevkbmimxrt1060completes locally, and every board the workflows use is present in that release.
