Jumentix is an open-source software factory for teams building SaaS products. It provides contract-first foundations for APIs, realtime services, web applications, and modular product domains, so teams can concentrate on the product they are creating.
- REST APIs with OpenAPI 3.1 contracts, plus WebSocket and gRPC realtime services.
- Function services for AWS Lambda, Vercel Functions, and Cloudflare Workers.
- Modular SaaS monoliths that can evolve into independently deployed service ecosystems.
- Complete product experiences: SPAs and offline-first PWAs with contract-driven client SDKs.
- Offline field and operations applications backed by IndexedDB and local storage.
- Domain models and service boundaries designed in Service Management, with service-specific OpenAPI and AsyncAPI exports.
- Services backed by in-memory, SQL, or NoSQL persistence adapters.
- The contract comes first. Every service is generated from an OpenAPI or Domain Designer model, so APIs, clients and documentation agree from day one.
- The code is yours. Jumentix generates a plain Bun workspace you read, change and deploy, on open-source libraries.
- Swap infrastructure, keep the domain. HTTP frameworks, databases and messaging sit behind adapters, so changing one does not touch your business rules.
- Start small, split later. Begin as one modular service and move domains into separate services when the product needs it.
Create a project and answer a few questions about how it should run:
npx @jumentix/cli-init init my-productOr generate the same project without prompts:
npx @jumentix/cli-init init my-product \
--mode=monolith \
--preset=users \
--http=express \
--realtime=none \
--db=sqlite \
--non-interactive--mode picks the shape: monolith, services, hybrid (backend and web app) or frontend. Start from your own model with --from=<designer-export.json | openapi.yml>. Using Bun? bunx @jumentix/cli-init init my-product works the same way. The CLI guide lists every option.
