Description
Is there an existing issue for this?
- I searched existing issues for missing migration guides and missing-file false positives. Related 🐛🧑💻 - Pre branch SDD analysis reads the default checkout instead of its selected immutable development base #836 concerns selected-source grounding during SDD preparation; 🐛 - Bugbot reports invalid composite foreign key despite an existing imported UNIQUE index #859 is a different FK false positive. This is a PR review occurrence with independently readable unchanged head content. Please consolidate if an existing regression owns the same cause.

Description
Bugbot publishes a 99%-confidence correctness finding claiming a newly linked migration guide is absent from the reviewed repository. The target is an unchanged tracked file already present at both the selected parent and the exact reviewed head. Its Git blob and GitHub file API independently agree, and the actual local documentation validator passes. The user-facing relative link is valid.
Expected: check the link against the immutable reviewed head. If bounded context cannot establish target existence, mark that fact unverified rather than assert absence. Keep genuinely missing/deleted target findings. Do not ask consumers to duplicate existing documentation or change a correct link.
Actual: vypdev/domus#26 (comment) states that docs/household-administration-migration.md does not exist in the workspace and suggests adding it or changing the valid link.
Reproducing the issue
- Consumer PR: feat: Add household administration APIs and verified browser recovery (#25) domus#26 . Reviewed head b14c308a28ecad52945a8edac6dce25ba9dfd655, Action publication parent171244421fcc6289180bdb94bf4e7bb52a990a1b, actual merged baseline6d84d4815a8bbfe071979df6650d01e433dcc2db.
- New docs/household-administration.md line27 links to household-administration-migration.md. Resolving relative to docs yields docs/household-administration-migration.md.
- Run
git ls-tree b14c308a28ecad52945a8edac6dce25ba9dfd655 docs/household-administration-migration.md: mode100644, blob814ef09ab5cdc453d66763a6ffe9adcb3082e645.git show b14c308a28ecad52945a8edac6dce25ba9dfd655:docs/household-administration-migration.mdreturns the complete guide, headed 'Member profile storage migration'. SHA2564bb1ebf920bd133c7fe8d89f897e3a037cf83d6dc37cedf07bd66e9508ec020d. - Independently read https://github.com/vypdev/domus/blob/b14c308a28ecad52945a8edac6dce25ba9dfd655/docs/household-administration-migration.md through the connected GitHub file API at that exact ref: same814ef09a blob and content. The guide contains the schema9 migration, state/defaults, preserved inputs and rollback/acceptance limits.
- The file is inherited unchanged, not an untracked local addition or a replacement after review. Existing full documentation-link validation passes. No additional migration guide is needed.
- Review run https://github.com/vypdev/domus/actions/runs/41477642019 , job125387329358. Native reviewer completes all6/6 partitions and reports contextCoverageStatus=complete, then publishes two findings. This missing-guide claim is one false positive; the separate imprecise OpenAPI integer maximum finding is valid and is being corrected in Domus.
- Finding id docs/household-administration.md:27:missing-migration-guide, fingerprint fp-dd6271fc, semantic sf-f167c5fd. Review5739511603; thread PRRT_kwDOVa5AKs6ywGNO; comment4444683256.
This proves the published absence assertion is incorrect. It does not prove which hidden source tool ran, that the declared bounded conversation/diff context should contain every unchanged file, or a common internal cause with #836.

Published finding: 'The new household administration page links to household-administration-migration.md, but that file is absent from the repository at the reviewed head.'
Additional context and comments
No Copilot code, installed resource, configuration, workflow, credential, bounds, model or gateway change is made. Domus preserves the correct guide/link, will reply with immutable evidence and distinguish this false positive from the valid OpenAPI correction. Zero unresolved findings and full coverage remain merge requirements; the larger administration workspace is still in progress.
Suggested controls: an unchanged tracked target outside the changed-file partition; a genuinely missing target; a target deleted or renamed by the reviewed PR; base-versus-head content; unsupported source availability rendered as unverified rather than absence; and the exact source ref retained during all link checks. Do not weaken useful broken-link detection or add consumer workarounds for a valid link.
