*sum: --status prints a result line for a missing checked file #14967

Description

@SichenLiang

On Ubuntu 26.04.1 x86_64 with GNU coreutils 9.12 and uutils coreutils 0.13.0 at 2fd0af2115d89636eeefeb9cce41d8d5570c33d2, from a checkout with target/release/coreutils built:

GNU_MD5SUM=/path/to/gnu-9.12/bin/md5sum
UU_COREUTILS="$PWD/target/release/coreutils"

work=$(mktemp -d) || exit
printf 'd41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e  missing\n' > "$work/checks"
cd "$work" || exit

LC_ALL=C "$GNU_MD5SUM" -c --status checks
LC_ALL=C "$UU_COREUTILS" md5sum -c --status checks

GNU exits 1 with empty stdout and this stderr:

md5sum: missing: No such file or directory

uutils returns the same status and stderr, but also writes this to stdout:

missing: FAILED open or read

--status should suppress the result line while preserving the file diagnostic and failing status. --quiet should continue to print the failure line because it suppresses successful OK results only.
The affected validation path is shared by md5sum, sha1sum, sha224sum, sha256sum, sha384sum, sha512sum, b2sum, and cksum.
