Summary

tx3c 0.24.0 ships the first-party client templates itself. trix 0.27.0 renders its built-in plugins with tx3c codegen --template <name> and no longer downloads this repo's .trix/client-lib. The changes are tx3-lang/tx3#360, tx3-lang/tx3#361 and tx3-lang/trix#132. Both releases are on the stable and beta tx3up channels, and the DX e2e suite is green on both.

  • .trix/client-lib is removed. The codegen-v1beta0 tag keeps the old copy for trix releases that still fetch it.
  • .github/scripts/codegen-check.sh now renders tx3c's built-in python-client template. Its compile and smoke checks are unchanged, so an SDK change that would break the client the current tx3c generates still fails here, before the SDK is released.

Client template changes now land in tx3-lang/tx3 under bin/tx3c/templates/python-client/.

Verification

Ran locally with the released tx3c 0.24.0 on PATH:

  • The python-client output rendered and imported against the in-repo sdk/src, and TransferParams(quantity=1) constructed. The script's own venv step could not run locally: cffi has no Python 3.14 wheel. CI covers it.

CI installs the same version from the stable channel through tx3-lang/actions/setup@v1.

tx3c 0.24.0 ships the first-party client templates itself, and trix
0.27.0 renders the built-in plugins with `tx3c codegen --template
<name>` instead of downloading this repository's .trix/client-lib
(tx3-lang/tx3#360, #361, tx3-lang/trix#132). Both are on the stable
tx3up channel.

- Remove .trix/client-lib; the codegen-v1beta0 tag keeps the old copy
for trix releases that still fetch it.
- The codegen check renders the built-in `python-client` template. Its compile
and smoke checks are unchanged, so an SDK change that breaks the
client the current tx3c generates still fails here.
