The symfony/phpunit-bridge 7.4+ should be kept, registering its PHPUnit extension. This has several benefits:

  • enabling the DebugClassLoader of symfony/error-handler to have the deprecations it reports
  • having the issue trigger resolver improving their classification (in PHPUnit 13+ and Symfony 8.2+)
