Run Admin live development target as a portable source container #25

Closed as not planned

Description

@adrianwebb

Goal

Make the Admin web development target a containerized Astro development server that can hot-reload source behind admin.treeseed.localhost while consuming SDK/UI/Core overlays and either a released or live API through manager-resolved connections.

Acceptance

  • Add a source-only development Compose service using the configured workspace/worktree paths; no sibling source imports or published development image required.
  • Bind readiness only to loopback and expose the private edge-network identity admin-live.
  • Preserve the stateless runtime, browser token custody, and manager-owned canonical route lease.
  • Clean up the Compose project on target release/session stop.
  • Mount only the local CA needed for canonical remote control-plane connections and keep caches ephemeral.
  • Prove Astro rendering and hot reload through https://admin.treeseed.localhost with live SDK/UI/Core/API targets.

    Accepted from merged staging source in session dev-f9dfe127-231, without publishing an Admin package/image or changing Platform composition. The source container is healthy, manager routing is https://admin.treeseed.localhost -> http://admin-live:4322, /, sign-in, consent, device approval, and confirmation routes render successfully, and /healthz proves the live API dependency. A reversible sign-in source marker appeared through canonical HTTPS on the first probe and disappeared on the first probe after restoration; the worktree is clean.
