Updates existing MCP tools for branches, mirroring the CLI changes to the db and service commands.

  • db_query and db_schema resolve service_id through the API's resolve endpoint. Behind TIGER_EXPERIMENTAL, they also accept a branch ID, and their descriptions say so. A paused or unready branch points at branch_start or branch_get.
  • service_get returns a fluid service's branch_count behind the gate. Without the gate, the field is left out of its schema.
  • service_delete names the branches deleted along with a fluid service, in its PROD prompt and in its result message. This isn't gated, since the branches are deleted either way. Only the tool description mentions branches behind the gate.

Release ordering: db_query and db_schema now depend on the resolve endpoint, so this can't be released before the API ships it.

db_query and db_schema now resolve service_id through the API's resolve
endpoint, so behind the experimental gate they accept a branch ID as well
as a service or read replica set ID, and a paused or unready branch points
at the branch tools. service_get returns a fluid service's branch count
behind the gate. service_delete names the branches deleted along with a
fluid service in its PROD prompt and its result, regardless of the gate.
