Closes #30.

Changes

  • New ## Install section right after Quickstart. It opens with a table comparing Homebrew, npm and npx: the command afterwards, how updates arrive, and what each needs.
    • Homebrew: tap, trust and install, plus the one-command brew install thilllon/tap/create-dotfiles. Then how to use the installed create-dotfiles (interactive, --auto, --dry-run, --encrypt-zip, restore, --help, --version).
    • Updating: brew update && brew upgrade create-dotfiles, since plain brew upgrade checks only once a day (HOMEBREW_AUTO_UPDATE_SECS defaults to 86400).
    • Removing: uninstall, untap and untrust. brew untap keeps trust entries, so untrust is a separate step.
    • Brewfile: the snippet with trusted: true.
    • npm: npm i -g. pnpm needs pnpm setup and only installs a release once it is a day old (pnpm 11); yarn global works on Yarn 1 only.
    • npx: plain npx refreshes on its own. @latest matters when an installed copy (Homebrew, npm i -g, or the project) would otherwise shadow it.
  • Usage examples (Usage, Password-protected zip, Restore) use create-dotfiles, with a note to put npx in front if you haven't installed it. Quickstart and the console transcripts stay npx-first.
  • The tap README gets the matching "Use" section in thilllon/homebrew-tap.

Verification

Every command in the new sections was run against the real tap without changing this machine's Homebrew state.

  • Trust flow: in an isolated trust store (XDG_CONFIG_HOME), brew info and brew install --dry-run create-dotfiles fail with "untrusted tap" before brew trust thilllon/tap and work after it.
  • One-command install: brew install --dry-run thilllon/tap/create-dotfiles trusts just the formula.
  • Brewfile: brew bundle check and brew bundle install trust the tap.
  • Removal: the uninstall, untap and untrust steps were checked by syntax and against Homebrew 7.0.6 source.
  • Upgrade: checked with brew upgrade --dry-run.
  • Examples: every create-dotfiles example ran against the brew-installed binary with a temp HOME.
  • npm, pnpm, yarn: npm i -g was checked with a temp --prefix; pnpm, Yarn 1, Yarn 4 and the npx caching behaviour were checked in isolated directories.

…stalled command

Homebrew was a paragraph inside Usage and every example said
`npx create-dotfiles`, so someone who installed with Homebrew had no
guidance on running the command, updating or removing it.

- New "Install" section after Quickstart: a table comparing Homebrew, npm
and npx, then Homebrew in full: tap + trust + install (and the one-command
form), how to use `create-dotfiles`, `brew update && brew upgrade` (plain
  `brew upgrade` checks once a day), uninstall/untap/untrust (untap keeps
trust entries), and the Brewfile. npm, with pnpm and Yarn 1 caveats. npx,
with when `@latest` matters (an installed copy shadows it).
- Usage, Password-protected zip and Restore examples use `create-dotfiles`;
Quickstart and the transcripts stay npx-first.

Every command was run against the real tap: the trust steps in an isolated
trust store, uninstall/untap/untrust by syntax and source, installs as
dry runs or into temp prefixes.
