Simulate customer bills under various pricing schemes and then calculate winners and losers based on certain demographic criteria.
Why
It is not currently clear to CUB which demographic groups (particularly economic ones) will benefit from ComEd's changes to rate structures--especially vs. CUBs proposed structures. CUB will be able to actively lobby and possibly litigate fairer rate structures, as well as well adapt its strategies for helping inform customers and aid them in lowering their bills.

Run a pricing simulation on various years/months and compare winners and losers using a regression.
Deliverables
- PR with end-to-end pipeline that:
- Ingests S3 parquet files
- Simulates bills with adjustable rate structures and time periods
- Runs a regression that shows which demographic characteristics are associated with savings or additional costs
- Presentation for CUB with appropriate visualizations
- 1-pager writeup on our findings
