🔥(backend) remove easy-thumbnails and Pillow - #2909
Pillow keeps raising security alerts on the backend, and it was only installed through easy-thumbnails, which the backend no longer uses. Removing both drops Pillow from uv.lock.
Proposal
Remove easy_thumbnails from pyproject.toml, INSTALLED_APPS and the THUMBNAIL_* settings, and regenerate uv.lock (with uv 0.13.4, the version the Dockerfile pins). Only easy-thumbnails and pillow leave the lock.
Remove core/templatetags/extra_tags.py, Pillow's only direct import: no template uses its base64_static tag. Its {% load %} goes away from src/mail/mjml/template.mjml, so the generated mail templates don't load it anymore.
As agreed in the issue, keep the tables in existing databases and add an UPGRADE.md entry with the SQL to drop them, for those who want to. They are empty (nothing ever created a thumbnail), so anonymize_database no longer truncates them.
Checked locally: after a rebuild of the backend image, import PIL fails, manage.py check is clean, make mails-build produces templates without extra_tags, the mail tests pass, and so do the full backend suite and make lint.

@RoeeSivan I know coderabbit told you to undo it but you can remove the tables from the management command. The app has never been used so there is nothing in the tables.
Done, thanks! Removed easy_thumbnails_source and easy_thumbnails_thumbnail from TRUNCATES, and the UPGRADE.md note now says the tables are empty instead of saying anonymize_database truncates them.
Command.help uses the module docstring, so anonymize_database --help claims that the command truncates the thumbnail cache. The command now truncates only django_session and django_admin_log. Existing thumbnail tables can therefore retain media paths in a database that users believe is safe to share.

Pillow keeps raising security alerts, and the backend only installed
it through easy-thumbnails, which nothing uses anymore. Its one direct
import was the base64_static template tag, which no template calls,
so the extra_tags module goes away too, along with its load in the
mail template.
No migration drops the easy_thumbnails tables, so existing databases
keep them. They are empty, as nothing ever created a thumbnail, so
anonymize_database stops truncating them. UPGRADE.md explains how to
drop them.
