Description

What is the purpose of this pull request?

This pull request:

  • propagates fixes merged to develop between 2026-11-03 13:11 UTC and 2026-11-04 13:11 UTC to sibling packages.

78ad2fa — docs: normalize trailing newlines in REPL help texts

78ad2fa normalized REPL help texts to end with a single blank line after See Also. dwaxpb and swaxpb landed without the trailing blank line.

  • blas/ext/base/dwaxpb
  • blas/ext/base/swaxpb

d0d8e26 — chore: clean-up

d0d8e26 changed int main() to int main( void ) in the math/base/special/cinv C example. Applies the same change to the remaining READMEs and examples/c/example.c files that still declare int main(). These are the last such sites in the repository.

  • math/base/special/ceiln (README)
  • math/base/special/cceiln (README, example)
  • math/base/special/cfloorn (README, example)
  • math/base/special/log10 (example)
  • math/base/special/erfinv (example)
  • blas/ext/base/zfill (README, example)
  • blas/ext/base/cfill (example)

b7ad899 — chore: clean-up

b7ad899 added missing spaces before closing parentheses in call argument lists, function signatures, and conditionals. Applies the same fix to the remaining call, signature, and conditional sites.

Validation

  • Searched all of lib/node_modules/@stdlib for each pattern: **/docs/repl.txt endings, int main() in READMEs and examples/c/*.c, and a paren-matching scan of lib/**/*.js, src/**/*.c and include/**/*.h.
  • Two independent validators checked each site, and a third pass checked style. Only sites confirmed by both validators are included. All changes are mechanical and stay within the target files.
  • Deliberately excluded:
    • regexp/to-json/docs/repl.txt: the trailing line contains only whitespace, so fixing it would be a deletion rather than the source's append (needs-human).
    • Arithmetic grouping parens in math/base/special/{gammainc,pow,exp}/src/main.c: those files mix spacing styles.
    • Cast parens in random/base/mt19937/src/main.c:818,827: the file's convention would call for removing a space, not adding one.
    • The missing semicolon at stats/strided/svariance/src/addon.c:41: a separate defect, not covered by the source pattern.
    • 7f74397 (docs: remove non-applicable callback @throws tags): the one remaining site, _tools/pkgs/entry-points/lib/sync.js, was reverted. That file has a pre-existing jsdoc-doctest error (// returns [{...}] on a /foo/bar/baz example; siblings use // e.g., returns), and touching the file makes Lint Changed Files report it. The fix belongs in a separate change.
  • c545ca1 (fix: return β*C when K is zero) has no remaining sibling sites. dgemm, sgemm, and ggemm are the only *gemm implementations.

Propagates fix from b7ad899 ("chore: clean-up") to sibling packages containing call, signature, and conditional parentheses lacking a space before the closing parenthesis.

Drops the propagated site from 156c4fa, as the file contains a pre-existing `jsdoc-doctest` lint error unrelated to the propagation, which is surfaced when the file is linted.
