single-quoted identifiers are preserved only in table-name positions matched by
ROW_DELETE, while single-quoted string literals elsewhere remain blanked. Add
regression tests for DELETE FROM, REPLACE INTO, and UPDATE OR REPLACE using
single-quoted table names.

drizzle-kit answers some column changes by rebuilding the table, and the DROP in that rebuild fires every child's ON DELETE action. A rebuild of images would wipe each fork's image_tags and image_characters rows at deploy, and the PRAGMA foreign_keys=OFF line drizzle writes has no effect inside the migration's transaction. The guard fails on any new migration that creates a __new_ table or drops one. The one past rebuild (0013, run against empty tables) is listed by name. The test also runs the generated rebuild shape in SQLite to show the cascade it causes.
Review follow-ups on the rebuild guard: comments and string literals are blanked before matching, so prose can't trip it and DROP/**/TABLE can't slip past; __new_ matches in any case; every allowlisted file must still exist; and the header says which half of the cascade claim is D1's documented behavior and which is SQLite's, shown by the test.
A quote or comment marker inside a quoted identifier (an apostrophe in `artist's_note`, a -- in `a--b`) was read as the start of a literal or comment and could blank a DROP TABLE later in the statement. The matcher now steps over backtick, double-quote and bracket identifiers first. The header also says the guard covers rebuilds and drops only: a DELETE or REPLACE on a parent table needs the same review.
The cascade demo only holds because PRAGMA foreign_keys is a no-op inside a transaction. The test now checks that after each statement.
…plit hole A DELETE or REPLACE on a table other tables reference with ON DELETE CASCADE or SET NULL fires the same child actions as a rebuild (checked: INSERT OR REPLACE on a parent row empties its cascade children in SQLite). The guard now flags those, taking the parent tables from the latest drizzle snapshot, with 0019's deliberate dedupe allowlisted. Comments and literals are blanked before the file is split, so a breakpoint marker inside a string can no longer hide a statement.
SQLite accepts DELETE FROM`images`, "images" and [images] with no whitespace, which the row-delete check missed. Parent table names from the snapshot are lowercased to match the SQL side.

Fails CI when a new migration rebuilds or drops a table.
Why
drizzle-kit answers some column changes by rebuilding the table: create
__new_<table>, copy, drop the original, rename. D1 always enforces foreign keys, and the drop fires every child'sON DELETEaction. A rebuild ofimageswould delete every fork'simage_tagsandimage_charactersrows at deploy and null thecharacters.reference_image_idandvr_avatars.poster_image_idlinks. The test runs drizzle's generated rebuild shape in SQLite to show the cascade. That this also happens on D1 follows from its documented foreign-key behavior and hasn't been run on D1 itself. How
The test scans
drizzle/*.sql, the same files the deploy applies. Comments and string literals are blanked and quoted identifiers kept, so prose can't trip it andDROP/**/TABLEcan't get past it. The one past rebuild,0013, ran against empty tables and is allowlisted by name. A rebuild that's really needed has to save and restore its children's rows, be proven on a local D1, and then be added to the list. ADELETEorREPLACEon a parent table fires the same cascades and needs the same review; the guard doesn't cover those.Rollout
Nothing to do after merge.
