react/jsx-runtime not found #260

Description

@PierBover

During dev I'm seeing this error the first time Vite starts:

(!) Failed to run dependency scan. Skipping dependency pre-bundling. Error: The following dependencies are imported but could not be resolved:

  react/jsx-runtime (imported by ...src/client-entry.tsx)

If I re-run Vite the error goes away but it's consistent if I use vite --force.

This is not triggered during build.

This issue is described in this Vite issue and apparently it was fixed by this PR. Not sure if this is a regression or maybe something is wrong with my setup.

This is my Vite config:

export default defineConfig(({isSsrBuild}) => {
  return {
    plugins: [
      solid({ssr: true}),
      devServer({
        entry: 'src/index.ts',
        adapter: nodeAdapter
      })
    ],
    build: {
      // etc
    }
  };
});

I'm using these:

  "@hono/vite-dev-server": "0.25.3",
  "solid-js": "1.9.12",
  "vite": "8.0.13",
  "vite-plugin-solid": "2.11.12

I'm on Node v26.1.0. Also happens with Bun though.
