- Small before large. Prove the idea before building the cathedral.
- Useful before impressive. Fancy is welcome; useless is not.
- UX is part of the system. Motion, feedback and clarity are product behavior, not decoration.
- Automation compounds. A good worker should make the next piece of work cheaper.
- Public by default. Share the experiments, the failures and the things that actually work.
- Stay calm. Reduce noise. Make the next good decision. Ship again.
Most of my work is an ongoing laboratory rather than a fixed product roadmap. Some experiments become products. Some become infrastructure. Some teach me what not to build.
