About Me

Featured Research: Ultrametric Quantum Computing (UQC)

UQC Open Access

The Problem: Conventional quantum architectures face a thermodynamic dead end — dilution refrigerators at millikelvin temperatures provide ~50 μW of cooling versus ~1 W at 4 Kelvin. That's a 20,000× gap that fundamentally limits scalability.

The UQC Solution: Embed error suppression in the hardware geometry using ultrametric (hierarchical, p-adic) spaces where the strong triangle inequality provides a natural error barrier — potentially eliminating the 1,000:1 physical-to-logical qubit overhead entirely.

Impact Highlights

🔬 Published the quantitative case that the quantum industry's trajectory is a thermodynamic dead end — and a viable alternative.

Dilution refrigerators at ~15 mK provide ~50 μW of cooling. Commercial cryocoolers at 4 K provide ~1 W — a 20,000× difference. Published a manufacturable roadmap for 4-Kelvin topological quantum processing using commercially available hardware.
