Review
The title rename Tools → Platform Tools is clean and I have no concern with it. Requesting changes for one hard blocker that is not a diff line, plus some prose notes inline.
must-fix: DCO is failing
The single commit 22db724 carries no Signed-off-by: line, and DCO is a required check on this repo — so the PR cannot merge as it stands. This is commit metadata rather than a line in the diff, which is why it is here in the body and not inline.
git commit --amend --signoff --no-edit
git push --force-with-leaseThat is the whole fix; the DCO check re-runs on push.
On what the rewrite trades away
Not a defect, and ultimately an editorial call rather than mine — but worth stating plainly, because it is the substance of the change rather than its style.
The old description said what the service does for the reader:
Vetted tools agents reach through the platform, so every call is mediated and audited instead of made directly.
The new one says what categories it belongs to:
These are standalone tools the platform provides to facilitate agent and platform governance, security, resilience, reliability and efficiency
The first gives someone skimming the page a reason to want it — "mediated and audited instead of made directly" is a concrete claim they can evaluate. The second is a list of five abstract nouns that could precede almost any platform component, and it restates the page's own intro paragraph ("agent security, resilience, reliability and efficiency") about thirty lines further down. If the goal is to widen the entry's scope beyond mediated tool calls, that reads as a reasonable motive — the suggestion is to keep a concrete "so that…" clause while widening it.
Summary
Areas reviewed: Docs (MDX content only)
Commits: 1 commit, signed off: no
CI status: DCO failing; Netlify deploy preview and project automation passing
Once the sign-off lands, the inline suggestions are optional and I would not hold the PR for them.
Noting for the record that @esnible has already approved this. The request for changes is strictly about the unsigned commit, not a disagreement with that review.

Three small prose notes on this line, all suggestions — none of them block the merge once the DCO sign-off is in.
1. Missing terminal period. Every one of the other 13 descriptions in this file ends with a period; this would be the sole exception. I checked all of them rather than a sample.
2. "These are…" breaks the opening pattern. The other twelve entries open with the noun phrase directly — "Reusable, governed capabilities an agent can draw on…", "Durable memory that survives sessions and restarts…", "Isolated environments to run untrusted…". Dropping the preamble keeps the cards scannable and parallel:
Standalone tools the platform provides to facilitate agent and platform governance, security, resilience, reliability and efficiency.
3. The five-noun list duplicates the page intro. "governance, security, resilience, reliability and efficiency" repeats the intro paragraph's "agent security, resilience, reliability and efficiency" roughly thirty lines below on the same page. Trimming to the two or three that most distinguish this service from the other four would carry more information than naming all five.

@Ronen-Levy Is this still relevant? If so, can you please address @mrsabath 's requested change re: DCO so that we can get this merge? It's been stale for 62 days at the time of writing. |

Thanks @mrsabath. I signed off the commit for DCO and updated the description: added the final period, dropped the 'These are' opening so it matches the other entries, and added a concrete 'so…' clause. I kept all five areas (governance, security, resilience, reliability, efficiency) on purpose because this entry is meant to cover all of them. Could you take another look? |
Renames the 'Tools' service (ecosystem/welcome.mdx, rossoctlServices item 02) to 'Platform Tools' and updates its description to: 'These are standalone tools the platform provides to facilitate agent and platform governance, security, resilience, reliability and efficiency'.
