Ruleset 24806684 "Protect main branch" keeps deletion, non-fast-forward and linear history with no bypass; ruleset 24807145 "Require Validate" requires Validate with the repository admin as bypass actor, so the operator can push a hand fix. Sessions push with his credentials and inherit the bypass, so git-hygiene.md states that a session lands on main only a pull request head with Validate green.
