Compiles lib3mf's C++ library (fetched at the matching tag) into the lib3mf package, a drop-in for the lib3mf distribution. Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel, only aarch64.

Mirrors upstream's aarch64.yml.

Differs from upstream

  • SKBUILD_WHEEL_LICENSE_FILES widened - the default glob misses License.txt and the linked libraries' licences.

Matrix: cp312, cp313, cp314 - upstream builds cp310-cp314 only and ships no free-threaded wheel.

Testing

  • upstream tests only via build123d's suite; added a smoke test that writes and re-reads a cube through the real library.

License: Wheel bundles lib3mf (BSD-2-Clause), zlib (Zlib), libzip (BSD-3-Clause), cpp-base64 (Zlib) and fast_float (MIT); upstream ships no licence text for them, so the build adds it.

Patches

  • 0001-Allow-importing-on-linux-riscv64.patch - To upstream. __init__.py raises OSError on any Linux machine but x86_64/aarch64; riscv64-only.

scikit-build-core build that fetches and compiles lib3mf's C++ library
into the lib3mf package, mirroring upstream's aarch64.yml narrowed to
riscv64. Patch the Linux machine allowlist in __init__.py, and ship the
licences of lib3mf and the libraries it links statically.
