Compiles a Rust PII-redaction/pseudonymization core with PyO3 Python bindings (pure-Python driver on top). Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel.

Mirrors upstream's release.yml build-wheels job (maturin, manifest-path = crates/argus-redact-py/Cargo.toml), narrowed to Linux manylinux.

Differs from upstream

  • Rust toolchain installed in-container via rustup - upstream's GitHub runners ship one already.

Testing

  • Same core assertion as upstream's test job: a redact() smoke call, then pytest -m "not ner and not semantic and not slow" tests (same marker deselect upstream uses to skip the heavy NER/LLM extras).

License: OK, Apache-2.0, nothing vendored.

Built on cp312; dependency tree (fancy-regex, pyo3, sha2/sha3/hmac, serde) is pure Rust with no -sys/C bindings beyond platform stubs, verified with cargo metadata --filter-platform riscv64gc-unknown-linux-gnu.

Adds the riscv64 wheel build for argus-redact, a local PII redaction
and pseudonymization library (Rust/PyO3 core, pure Python driver).
Pure Rust dependency tree (fancy-regex, pyo3, sha2/sha3/hmac); no C or
system libraries. Mirrors upstream's maturin-based release.yml,
narrowed to Linux manylinux_riscv64.
