felt/tippecanoe has no Python packaging of its own; the PyPI distribution comes from nightlark/tippecanoe-pypi, whose CMakeLists.txt downloads and make(1)s the felt/tippecanoe CLI at the matching tag during the build and installs the resulting binaries as package data (wheel.py-api = "py2.py3", one build per libc). Mirrors upstream's own manylinux/ musllinux matrix; sqlite3 is the only dependency not already in the riscv64 images. Upstream's own wheels ship only tippecanoe-pypi's LICENSE/NOTICE and never add felt/tippecanoe's own LICENSE.md for the CLI they bundle; this build pulls it in itself.

tippecanoe2.72.0Builds the
tippecanoevector-tile CLI (andtile-join,tippecanoe-decode, etc.) from source viamakeand bundles the resulting binaries as package data. Upstream publishes no riscv64 wheel.Mirrors upstream's
build.yml(the actual PyPI packaging lives innightlark/tippecanoe-pypi, notfelt/tippecanoeitself, which ships no Python packaging).Differs from upstream
Matrix: cp312 only -
wheel.py-api = "py2.py3"(one build serves every interpreter).Testing
tippecanoe --version), plus a check that the licence fix below still applies.License: Wheel bundles the felt/tippecanoe CLI (BSD-3-Clause); upstream ships no licence text for it, so the build adds one.
Built and tested locally (x86_64 rehearsal: compiled the real felt/tippecanoe source tree and ran
tippecanoe --version); verified the licence/binary checks against the real published wheel.
