I'm closing this because the issue is a) too opinionated and b) too broad
If there are specific recplacements you would like to see please open up individual issues. e.g. I attempted to replace execa with tinyexec but it wasn't all rainbows 🙈 #74
Also make-fetch-happen would be great to replace, but it is providing value right now. It's providing a disk cache for fetch. It might be nice to move to something like
node-fetch-cachebut 🤷

And noticed most of the tarnish comes from github-changelog
