Owner 2026-10-06: UI/UX detail polish for 0.0.75 (docs/SHIP_PLAN.md), round 2 after #1422. Presentation only; two CSS files.

What changed

  • New-look secondary page titles (Servers, Activity, Account, Support, Settings) take the sea tokens: 28px, weight 300, display face. The later tono.css rule (24px / 650) had been winning by source order, so those pages showed a bold title next to the home page's light one.
  • The home title uses the same display stack; the stack now falls back to Segoe UI before Microsoft YaHei UI.

Verification

  • Computed style in the shell preview (MacBook): before, all five pages 650 | 24px; after, ten captures (en + zh) 300 | 28px, home 300 | 64px with the display stack.
  • Before/after captures looked at for every page.
  • vitest run src/tono-ui passes. No new unit test: CSS only, jsdom has no layout.

Limitations

  • Not seen on Windows/WebView2: the MacBook has no Segoe fonts, so the preview shows a fallback face at weight 300.

Record: continuation section in docs/changelog.d/2026-10-06-windows-ui-polish.md.

The later tono.css rule (24px / 650) won by source order, so the five secondary
pages kept a bold title next to the home page's light one. The home title now
uses the display stack too, and the stack falls back to Segoe UI before YaHei.

Review record (jev-route)

  • Two routing calls disagreed on depth (80a83bd7 dual_cross_family, the run's own decision single); the stricter was run. Range origin/main...c743d5b89.
    • Opus 5.5 (jev-reviewer), run 2045f1b9, verified by Codex: PASSED, 0 blocking. opus:F1 (minor, record): the same class also styles the login "account suspended / session ended" card title, which the record did not list. Kept (it matches the new look's light login title) and now named in the changelog; that screen is not reachable in the preview, so there is no capture of it.
    • Codex gpt-6.1-sol high, run dfb70314: PASSED, clean.
  • Fix round afa2c70e2 (changelog only).
  • ci-gate on the exact head afa2c70e2abda3d8a3e3f2e009fc2e637a0a87e4: green, https://github.com/raydocs/tono/actions/runs/37526526627
  • Review threads: 0 unresolved; no CHANGES_REQUESTED.
  • Not verified: Windows/WebView2 hardware (the MacBook has no Segoe fonts). UI PR, merged under the owner's 2026-10-06 instruction to merge the new-look work into main.
