.layout-exampleboxes on the article layout page have white text on$gray-500(#adb5bd). This is 2.07:1, and text needs 4.5:1 (WCAG 1.4.3). The boxes now use$gray-600(#6c757d), which is 4.69:1. Dark mode already has its own override and does not change.Checked with an axe scan of
docs/authoring/article-layout.htmlbefore and after:color-contrast(17 instances) is gone. The change is intheme.scss. Only this page uses.layout-example. Full-site scan (all 374 pages, light and dark, before and after all five batch fixes): this finding is gone, and nothing is new or worse.Check
