The tag list stopped at v1.2.0 and the note still said v1 pointed there. Four releases have happened since — v1.3.0, v1.3.1 and now v1.4.0 — and v1 has moved to v1.4.0. That paragraph is the only written record of where v1 points, so a stale version of it is worse than none: a reader checking which workflow their @v1 pin resolves to would have been told the wrong commit.
