blog, docs: update Railway and Supabase facts - #8521
Conversation
…Compute status Railway bills usage per second and maintains its Postgres template, with backups, point-in-time recovery, high availability and PgBouncer pooling opt-in. Supabase Compute, which runs Node, is a private alpha in us-west-2 that is not for production. Dates and update history are updated on each blog post that has them. Supabase's Compute page describes Compute as sandboxes and backend HTTP services, not frontend hosting, so the app-hosting post no longer says Supabase hosts frontends inside the private alpha. The us-west-2 and not-for-production qualifiers stay; both are on supabase.com/compute. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

This PR updates competitor facts on four blog posts and the Compute FAQ, where Railway's docs and pricing and Supabase's Compute page changed or were stated loosely.
Changes
apps/docs/content/docs/compute/faq.mdx, comparison table, Railway cell of "Managed Postgres on the same bill": the cell now reads "A Postgres template Railway maintains; backups, point-in-time recovery, high availability and PgBouncer pooling are opt-in in its docs, checked 2026-10-19". The link moves fromdocs.railway.com/guides/postgresqltodocs.railway.com/databases/postgresql. It replaces wording that put template upkeep on the user, which Railway retired in railwayapp/docs Small fixes jamboree #1389 (merged 2026-10-07) and More detailed admonitions #1415. The page has no date or update history, so none was added.apps/blog/content/blog/serverless-postgres/index.mdx, two sentences: Railway bills usage per second, not per minute.updatedAtis now 2026-10-19. The post has no update history section, so no history line was added.apps/blog/content/blog/app-hosting-platforms-with-managed-postgres-2026/index.mdx, the Supabase section and the paragraph on one-vendor setups: Supabase still hosts no frontend, and a separate sentence says Supabase Compute, which runs backend services, is a private alpha (us-west-2 only, not for production).updatedAtis now 2026-10-19, with a matching update history line.apps/blog/content/blog/prisma-vs-netlify/index.mdx, the Supabase profile: Supabase Compute, which runs Node, is a private alpha (us-west-2 only, not for production).updatedAtis now 2026-10-19, with a matching update history line.
