parity(#294): MCP serverInfo advertises rmcp/1.7.0 instead of csp and its version #117

Description

Summary

Upstream semble #294 (76d32dd, MCP SDK 2.x) creates the server as MCPServer("semble", version=__version__, ...), so initialize.serverInfo reports the real name and version. Tool names, schemas, and payloads are unchanged.

csp status

get_info (crates/csp/src/bin/csp/mcp_server.rs:158-160) builds ServerInfo::new(..).with_instructions(..) without with_server_info. rmcp 1.7 then fills serverInfo from Implementation::from_build_env(), which uses env!("CARGO_CRATE_NAME") / CARGO_PKG_VERSION evaluated when rmcp itself is compiled. csp therefore advertises itself to MCP clients as {"name": "rmcp", "version": "1.7.0"}.

Proposal

.with_server_info(Implementation::new("csp", env!("CARGO_PKG_VERSION"))) (rmcp 1.7 API; adjust to the exact constructor).

Acceptance

  • The existing get_info test asserts server_info.name == "csp" and the crate version.
