Summary
The weekly JA sync PR #23942 (6acba5d04f..e9461decf1 on release-8.5) translated 108 of the files changed in that EN range, but the file layout of i18n-ja-release-8.5 no longer matches release-8.5 in three ways. The translation-cron.yml workflow appears to only translate changed Markdown files that are listed in TOC_FILES, so deletions, files under a TOC that is not listed, and images are not carried over.
1. Files deleted in EN still exist in JA (10 files)
EN moved these into the new tidb-cloud-filesystem/ directory and deleted them, but they remain on i18n-ja-release-8.5:

TOC-tidb-cloud-filesystem.md and the 23 files under tidb-cloud-filesystem/ were added in EN but were not translated, because TOC-tidb-cloud-filesystem.md is not listed in TOC_FILES in .github/workflows/translation-cron.yml.
As a side effect, 12 JA files translated in #23942 now link to /tidb-cloud-filesystem/*.md pages that do not exist on i18n-ja-release-8.5 yet.
3. Updated image not synced
media/tidb-cloud/tidb-cloud-architecture.png was updated in EN in this range, but i18n-ja-release-8.5 still has the old version. The workflow does not sync media/.
Suggested direction
- Add
TOC-tidb-cloud-filesystem.md to TOC_FILES (and confirm whether it needs TOC_EXCLUSIONS entries).
- Decide how EN-side file deletions and
media/ updates should reach i18n-ja-release-8.5 (workflow support, or a periodic manual sync).
