The teaser was visually dense and rebuilt its layout when mobile browser chrome changed height. This replaces it with five sparse scenes, café/reunion photography, one illustrative dinner exchange, and a portable handle. Native CSS scroll timelines drive supported browsers; the fallback writes one transform, and touch height-only resizes no longer trigger relayout or scrollTo. Chapter snapping remains.
Publishes the matching 23-second film at
/pilot-filmin widescreen and vertical, with controls, downloads, and a transcript. No autoplay or video payload is added to the teaser. The revised film shares the website font, puppy mark, Dots identity and claim/invite CTA, preserving the drum timing and fade.Validation: production build, plain coverage (100 pairs), site integrity (339 HTML files / 24,447 references), targeted teaser TypeScript, and native/fallback scroll regression checks pass. Regression checks run in CI. Desktop and 390×844 / 375×667 Chrome layouts inspected; reduced-motion fallback and AI switch verified. Physical iPhone performance has not been measured. Fresh independent film review: SHIP; both exports fully decode and retain byte-identical audio/timing from the prior cut.
