[NFR]: ADR view and cache panels #46

Closed
Closed

Description

@niden

Summary

The View and Cache panels stay empty in an ADR app, because the application does not give these services an events manager. The collectors already work outside MVC, so this issue needs no new collector code. It adds tests and documentation.

Current state

  • Phalcon\Mvc\View\Simple fires view:beforeRenderView and view:afterRenderView when it has an events manager.
  • Phalcon\Cache\Cache fires cache:after* when it has an events manager.
  • A probe confirmed that ViewCollector and CacheCollector record data from these two classes with no change.

Proposed direction

  • Document that an ADR app calls setEventsManager($manager) on Simple and on the cache.
  • Add tests that use a real Simple render and a real Cache, with no MVC application.

Notes

If #15 merges first, the ADR bridge must attach the shared view:* and cache:* listeners.

Acceptance

  • In an ADR app, the View and Cache panels show real data.
  • Tests pass with full coverage. phpcs and phpstan pass.
