✅ Formalities
Since Zabbix 8.0.0rc1 has been released and OpenWrt 26.1x is likely just around the corner:
It is my intent to not backport 8.0.x to 25.12 series as there will likely be a new EOL policy that means 25.12 is EOL when 26.1x is released. So this or the next Zabbix 7.0.x point release will be the last version for 25.12. Once 8.0.0 is released I plan to switch master to 8.0.0. It will be an LTS version (like 7.0.x, which actually will be supported for another year).
