// → [ [ 2, 4 ], 60, 8 ]

x;
// → [ [ 2, 4 ], 60, 8 ]

xarray.setPath$(x, [0, 1], 40);
// → [ [ 2, 40 ], 60, 8 ]

xarray.setPath$(x, [0, 1, 2], 100);
// → [ [ 2, 40 ], 60, 8 ]  (path not present, no effect)
