bin/serverinfo-os-report, run by root from cron, adds what the web server cannot see: services that still run code an update replaced (needrestart, dnf needs-restarting, zypper ps, or a scan of /proc), fresh package lists, and pending dnf updates. It is installed outside the web root and only reads the system. Its report is used only when root owns it and its directory, it is recent, and it was written on this host since the last boot.
