This PR was opened by the Changesets release GitHub action. When you're ready to do a release, you can merge this and the packages will be published to npm automatically. If you're not ready to do a release yet, that's fine, whenever you add more changesets to main, this PR will be updated.

Releases

@trakoo/better-auth@1.0.0

Major Changes

  • First release of @trakoo/better-auth, a Better Auth plugin that sends typed trakoo events for auth lifecycle changes: sign-ups, sign-ins, sign-outs, sessions, password and email changes, organizations, members, invitations and teams, API keys, admin actions, two-factor, passkeys, anonymous users, SSO providers and Stripe subscriptions. Merge its authEvents registry into your own and add trakooAuth({ analytics }) last in Better Auth's plugins. (#45)

    • Registers events only for the Better Auth plugins you install, and team events only when teams are enabled.
    • Reports database changes after their transaction commits, and nothing for failed requests.
    • Identifies users on sign-up, sign-in and profile or email changes. Email and name go only through identify, plus the email on user_signed_up's user context for email tools such as Bento.
    • Never sends passwords, tokens, API key values, OTPs or 2FA secrets.
    • Sends events after the response, through Better Auth's advanced.backgroundTasks.handler or Vercel's waitUntil, and never throws into Better Auth.
    • Sets EmitKit channel and notify hints on every event.

    Requires better-auth 1.7 or later.

trakoo@2.1.0

Minor Changes

  • Provider routing takes pii: false to keep personal data from a provider. That provider never receives the email, name, firstName, lastName or phone traits in identify(), nor the email or those traits in an event's user context, while other providers still do. It works in both client and server analytics. (#45)

    defineEvents({ ...otherRegistry, ...events }) now type-checks: spreading a registry no longer carries its internal brand into the new registry's definitions, so packages can ship events for you to merge.

@trakoo/emitkit@1.1.0

Minor Changes

  • An event can turn its push notification on or off with a boolean __emitkit_notify property, which overrides the provider's notify option for that event. Like __emitkit_channel, it is stripped from the event's metadata. Page views stay silent unless they set it. (#45)
