This PR cherry-picks the two commits from github#21631 to our fork. It's merged already, so this just ensures we get the changes sooner rather than later.
As I wrote in the GitHub PR this change is useful for an AI since it allows us to write a query that finds all dataflow nodes that may be reached by a given dataflow node (for example a remote flow source) without having to specify an
isSink. Such a query dramatically reduces the amount of code an AI has to look at.
